Understanding Your LUXIIVA Jewelry

Every LUXIIVA piece is crafted with 18K gold plating over a durable base metal, finished with a tarnish-free protective coating. Many of our pieces also feature 5A+ cubic zirconia stones — the highest grade available —that deliver diamond-like brilliance at an accessible price. While our jewelry is engineered to resist tarnish and withstand daily wear, proper care will maximize its lifespan and keep it looking its best.

Daily Wear Tips

LUXIIVA jewelry is designed for everyday wear. A few simple habits will keep your pieces in top condition:

• Put jewelry on last. Apply perfume, lotion, sunscreen, and hairspray before putting on your jewelry.

• Take it off first. When undressing, remove jewelry first to avoid snagging chains on clothing.

• Avoid harsh chemicals. Remove jewelry before using cleaning products, bleach, or chlorine.

• Remove during workouts. Extended exposure to heavy perspiration can affect any plated jewelry over time.

How to Clean Your Jewelry

Routine Cleaning (Weekly)

For regular maintenance, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth (like a microfiber cloth) after each wear. This removes oils from your skin that can build up and dull the finish.

Deep Cleaning (Monthly)

1. Mix a small amount of mild dish soap (like Dawn) with lukewarm water.

2. Dip a soft cloth or soft-bristle toothbrush into the solution.

3. Gently clean the jewelry, paying attention to areas around stones and clasps.

4. Rinse briefly under lukewarm water (not hot).

5. Pat dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth. Do not air dry — water spots can form.What NOT to Use

• No ultrasonic cleaners — vibrations can loosen stone settings

• No jewelry dips or chemical cleaners — designed for solid gold/silver, can strip plating

• No toothpaste or baking soda — abrasive, will scratch the surface

• No hot water — can weaken adhesives and loosen stones

How to Store Your Jewelry

Proper storage is the single biggest factor in maintaining your jewelry's appearance over time.

• Store in your LUXIIVA box or pouch. Every piece comes in packaging designed to protect it. Use it.

• Keep pieces separated. Don't toss all your jewelry in one pile. Pieces can scratch each other.

• Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid bathrooms (humidity) and windowsills (direct sunlight).

• Keep away from moisture. Consider adding a silica gel packet to your storage area in humid climates.

• Hang necklaces to prevent tangling. A jewelry stand or hooks on a cabinet door work perfectly.

Care by Jewelry Type

Necklaces & Pendants

Clasp your necklace when storing to prevent tangling. For custom name pendants with intricate lettering, use a soft brush to clean between letters. Handle the pendant by the chain rather than the pendant itself to reduce fingerprint buildup.

Bracelets

Bracelets get the most wear exposure since they're on your wrists all day. Wipe them down at the end of each day. For bracelet stacks, store each bracelet individually to prevent scratching.

Earrings

Clean earring posts regularly with a soft cloth, especially if you have sensitive ears. Store earrings as pairs. For hoop earrings, clasp them closed during storage to maintain their shape.

Rings

Remove rings before washing hands with soap (soap residue dulls stones). For rings with CZ stones, check prong settings periodically — if a stone feels loose, stop wearing and contact us.

Anklets

Our waterproof anklets are designed for water exposure. For non-waterproof anklets, remove before swimming or bathing. Anklets collect more dirt due to their position — clean them more frequently.

18K Gold Plating

18K gold plating means a layer of 18-karat gold is bonded to the surface of a base metal. It provides the color, shine, and luxury appearance of gold at a fraction of solid gold's cost. LUXIIVA uses a thicker plating process than most affordable jewelry brands.5A+

Cubic Zirconia (CZ)

Cubic zirconia is graded 1A to 5A, with 5A being the highest quality. Our 5A+ stones feature exceptional clarity, precise cuts, and brilliant fire. They're visually indistinguishable from diamonds to the naked eye.

316L Stainless Steel

Some LUXIIVA pieces use 316L stainless steel — the same surgical-grade steel used in medical implants. Naturally hypoallergenic, extremely durable, and highly resistant to corrosion.

Sterling Silver (Select Pieces)

Our sterling silver pieces use 0.925 sterling silver with anti-tarnish rhodium plating for enhanced durability and a bright white finish.
