Q: How many letters can I have?
A: 1 to 10 or more. Brush script holds up better than fine cursive at longer name lengths because the strokes carry more weight; names of three to six letters produce the boldest pendant.

Q: How is brush script different from cursive?
A: Brush script has variable stroke weight — thick downstrokes, thin upstrokes — so it reads bolder and more graphic. Fine cursive is even in weight and reads more delicate. Brush script is the better choice if you want the name visible from across a room.
