Baguette-cut stones are rectangular with step-cut facets, so they throw broad flashes of light rather than the fine sparkle of a round brilliant. Set edge to edge along a cursive letterform, they read as a continuous band of ice rather than scattered points — which is what makes a baguette-set name pendant look heavier and more expensive than its round-set equivalent.
5A is the highest clarity grade of cubic zirconia, cut and polished to jewellery tolerances rather than pressed. The letters are cut individually for your name and the stones set by hand into each curve, which is why a longer name takes longer to make.

Q: How many letters can I have?
A: 1 to 10 or more. Names of three to six letters produce the boldest pendant; longer names are cut proportionally smaller so the piece stays wearable, and sit better on a 20" or 22" chain.
Q: What does 5A cubic zirconia mean?
A: 5A is the highest clarity grade of CZ. The stones are cut and polished rather than moulded, so they hold their facets and stay bright far longer than lower grades, which cloud over.
Q: What is a baguette cut?
A: A rectangular step cut. Baguettes sit flush against each other, so a baguette-set pendant reads as a solid band of stone rather than individual sparkles — a bolder, more architectural look than round pavé.
Q: Will the stones fall out?
A: Each stone is individually set rather than glued. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and knocks against hard surfaces, and remove the piece before sleeping or exercising.
Q: Will 18K gold plating tarnish or turn my skin green?
A: No. The base is 316L stainless steel rather than brass or copper, so it will not oxidise, tarnish or discolour skin. It is hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin.
