The name is worked into the Cuban link chain itself rather than hung from it as a separate pendant, so the lettering sits flush in the line of the chain instead of dangling below it. That is what makes this read as one continuous piece rather than a chain plus a charm.
Rhinestones are set across the full length of the chain, clasp to clasp, so the iced coverage carries through the lettering and the links alike. Finished in 18K gold plating.
