The heart hook replaces the plain bail with a heart-shaped one, so the pendant carries a second motif above the name rather than a functional loop. It is the difference between this piece and the classic bail version: same frosted lettering, but the heart adds a romantic register the plain bail deliberately avoids.
The crushed heart chain carries the motif through the whole necklace rather than stopping at the pendant, with heart forms worked into the links themselves. When I initially ordered my necklace, I ordered it with my actually name on it and like how I want a custom cut and what not and then I came to realize I have to place my order that I wanted to change my name to my nickname and I sent them my email thinking that they were going to do it because I never got a response to when I received my necklace.
